ASSORTED MISPRINTED TINPLATE SHEETS (ETP/TFS)
When steel is hot-dipped in a zinc coating solution, it becomes galvanized. This coating protects the steel from particle corrosion and general surface scratches and abrasions. It is ideal for marine applications as the surfacing is salt resistant and also combats other weather conditions.
Galvanized Steel is appropriate for construction environments of up to 200 degrees celsius. The extent to which a sheet is galvanized is measured by the ‘weight per surface area’ of the zinc. In relation to workability, the list of capabilities for galvanized steel is extensive. The steel sheet can be punched (pierced), sheared, pressed, welded, drawn upon and bent into manipulation according to the project requirements.
It has been proven to be extremely reliable in both coastal and city locations due to its resistance towards both natural and chemical corrosion. Galvanized Steel products are also recyclable.
In both today’s industry and urban environments, there is an increase in examination of lifespan or life-cycle costs. In terms of sustainability, Galvanized Steel materials provide unmatchable benefits in the construction of mass infrastructure.
